Browse Programs Admission InformationThe Euro-Mediterranean Studies major aims to deepen the knowledge acquired by students of the International Relations major, considering that the Euro-Mediterranean region concerned with the study is the heart of the world, and it constitutes the area of conflict of the major powers today, and the focus of attention of all countries of the world because it includes geostrategic areas that are vital for international security and the global economy, and this region, especially the Mediterranean, has several conflicts, the most important of which is the oldest and most complex conflict in history, the Arab Israeli conflict, in addition to some new threats and conflicts that have surfaced in recent years, and this region is an important energy source in the world, as well as an important energy source in the world.
From this perspective, the Euro-Mediterranean Studies major is a complement to the training obtained by the student during the bachelor's stage, as the measures included in the Euro-Mediterranean Studies major are a development of some of the measures that the student studied during the bachelor's stage, such as the measure of international crisis management and the theories of economic integration and interdependence, and also includes measures concerned with some issues that the student did not deal with during the bachelor's stage, such as the forum of armament and disarmament in the Euro-Mediterranean region, or the forum of Euro-Mediterranean relations.
This specialisation also aims to create administrators familiar with all Euro-Mediterranean issues, ready to work in Algerian diplomatic and consular representations in the countries of the region, as well as able to work in Arab diplomatic bodies, especially the League of Arab States, or Arab embassies in Algeria and even Algerian diplomatic missions in Europe and the entire Mediterranean region.
