Browse Programs Admission InformationThe Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene and Safety covers fundamental courses in risk management, industrial toxicology, workplace safety, and applicable regulations. Students participate in practical sessions focused on hazard analysis, accident prevention, and environmental impact assessment. Hands-on training includes fire simulations, evacuation drills, pollutant exposure measurements, and the use of individual and collective protective equipment. This program combines theory and field application to prepare students for the challenges of industrial safety and occupational risk prevention.
Advanced topics include the analysis of chemical, biological, and physical risks, ergonomics and workplace safety, as well as safety management systems based on ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. The training also covers the mastery of pollutant monitoring and detection technologies, crisis and industrial disaster management, and the implementation of sustainable development strategies to minimize the environmental impact of industrial activities. These skills enable graduates to effectively contribute to worker protection and regulatory compliance in companies.
Access to higher education and training is open to holders of a baccalaureate or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
A new registration procedure has been implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education since the 2014/2015 academic year, whereby pre-registration, orientation, and appeals for new baccalaureate holders are conducted exclusively online.
