Core Courses

At the beginning of each academic year, in September, a Master's program is launched. Students are required to complete four semesters in Modern and Contemporary Western Philosophy to earn a Master's degree. The Master's program culminates in the student submitting a graduation thesis, usually in June.

Advanced Topics

The proposed topics in the Master’s program in Modern and Contemporary Western Philosophy are consistent with the nature of the specialization that the student is studying, as most of the proposed programs are related to issues of Western philosophy, such as philosophical systems, post-Hegelianism, the Enlightenment, humanity, continental philosophies, etc.

Admissions Information

The student is accepted into the master’s program first by automatically moving from the bachelor’s program, provided that he has obtained the bachelor’s degree in June of the same year, which represents eighty percent (80%) of the total number of available pedagogical positions. As for the remaining twenty percent (20%), the student applies through the platform designated by the university.The student is accepted based on his or her rank in the Bachelor's degree, whether classical or LMD, and is directed to modern and contemporary Western philosophy according to his or her desire or according to his or her rank among his fellow candidates.
