Program Overview

The training in the Master of Engineering Geology and Geotechnics at the University of Jijel is based on providing academic training to students in the study of aspects of applied geology through tutorials, practical work and field studies, which is a gradual application of the subjects studied during the course. This specialisation is both practical and technical as it is closely related to the geological sciences as well as to the study of soil mechanics. 


The main objective of the Master of Engineering Geology and Geotechnics is to train and introduce students to acquire broad skills in the field of "Geotechnics" and "Soil Mechanics" to study, monitor and manage construction and public works works and risks associated with soil and subsoil, and these skills will enable them to find employment opportunities in institutions concerned with this field.
