Core Courses

The duration of the training is summarised in four basic courses:


  • The first year: Two common core courses in the field of natural and life sciences
  • Second year: Two semesters in the field of environmental and spatial sciences
  • Third year: Two semesters in Environmental and Environmental Science specialisation.
  • Fourth and fifth year: Four semesters, culminating in a Master's degree in Fundamental and Applied Ecology

Admissions Information

The admission criteria for this specialty are as summarised as follows:


  • Students holding a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Ecology Sciences or its equivalent.
  • Students holding a degree of State Engineer in Environmental and Ecological Sciences, old system or equivalent.
  • For students holding other degrees in the field of nature and life sciences, the candidate's profile will be studied by the faculty team to consider the equivalence of curricula and the possibility of admission.
