Program Overview

The mechanical engineering program covers fundamental courses in solid mechanics, thermodynamics, material resistance, manufacturing, and computer-aided design. Advanced Topics

Advanced topics include the modeling and simulation of mechanical structures using the finite element method, materials engineering for the study of advanced alloys and composites, as well as the dynamics and control of mechanical systems to optimize machine performance. Mechatronics and automation are also covered, enabling the design of intelligent systems integrating electronics and computing. Acoustics and vibrations, which are crucial for the design of structures resistant to dynamic loads, along with tribology for optimizing friction and wear in mechanical components, complete this specialization. These skills equip graduates to meet the demands of sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, and emerging technologies.

Admissions Information

Access to higher education and training is open to holders of a baccalaureate or an equivalent internaionally recognized qualification.

A new registration procedure has been implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education since the 2014/2015 academic year, whereby pre-registration, orientation, and appeals for new baccalaureate holders are conducted exclusively online.
