Accounting and auditing

This program aims to prepare students for various careers in accounting, auditing, and control within any type of organization.

Additionally, it provides access to doctoral studies. Moreover, the theoretical and technical knowledge covered in this program is sufficient to allow students to pursue chartered accountancy through access to a school of chartered accountancy.

The program focuses on several key competencies, including:

• Financial accounting: Mastery of international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) and the Algerian accounting system to properly record economic transactions and financial elements leading to the preparation of financial statements.
• Accounting for public institutions.
• Financial auditing: Conducting audit engagements in compliance with international standards and national regulations.
• Internal auditing: Assessing and optimizing internal procedures within an organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Taxation: A crucial aspect of any audit and accounting program, providing a solid understanding of the Algerian tax system as well as international taxation.
• Management control: Essential for business performance, including cost calculation, budget management, and dashboard implementation to support decision-making.
• Financial consulting: Providing advice on business strategy, investment, and financial management.
• Accounting information systems: Understanding the technical architecture and management of financial information systems that support accounting functions within an organization.
