It offers a rich and specialized training in linguistics, with a balance between theory and practical application. It covers fundamental aspects such as major linguistic theories, lexicology, semantics, etc., while integrating complementary dimensions, notably sociolinguistics, which observes the links between languages and societies, and psycholinguistics, which explores cognitive mechanisms linked to language use, discourse analysis, etc. New linguistic technologies are also highlighted, offering modern perspectives for language analysis and teaching.

To enroll in the Master of Science in Language Studies program, candidates must meet the following requirements: - A bachelor's degree or equivalent: applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or a foreign certificate officially recognized as equivalent. - Possession of a bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in the French language stream: candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent foreign certificate in order to enter the second cycle of the LMD system.
