Program Overview

The Master's program in Maritime and Port Law aims to train researchers and qualified professionals capable of meeting the scientific and professional demands of sectors related to maritime law and ports, particularly in the field of foreign trade. This is achieved by enabling students to pursue fundamental research and higher education on one hand, and on the other hand, to prepare them for applying for job positions in the economic sector and providing qualified personnel for work in the maritime and port fields

Core Courses

The evaluationprocessisstructured in the form of regular and remedialassessment sessions.

For lectures:

  • There is a written exam at the end of each semester, along with continuous assessment through reports from field trips.

For guidedwork:

  • The evaluation is based on what the training team decides, which may include research, personal projects, written exams, etc.

In addition, students must prepare a graduation thesis, which consists of two sections: theoretical and practical. The thesis is completed as part of the mandatory internship within a port institution or a related organization.

Admissions Information

To be eligible for admission to the Master's program in Maritime and Port Law:

For graduates under the LMD system:

  • The student must have a good reputation and conduct.
  • The student must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, specializing in Public Law or Private Law, or an equivalent qualification.

For graduates under the old classical system:

  • The student must have a good reputation and conduct.
  • The student must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law.

Positions are allocated through partnership agreements with port institutions and related organizations.
