Training Objectives

Entomology, or the study of insects, is a science that holds an important place worldwide in agriculture, forestry, medicine, and veterinary science. In Algeria, many insect-related problems remain unexplained due to the lack of entomologists in the above-mentioned sectors.

The main objective is to train systematists in entomology.

Targeted Profiles and Skills

Several socioeconomic sectors lack knowledge in the field of insects, which justifies the creation of jobs to solve the many problems facing health, agriculture, the environment, and even national security service laboratories. The purpose of this program is therefore not to train fundamentalists, but graduates capable of solving the problems posed.
