Program Overview

The Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature (Specialization: Arabic Literature) aims to provide students with a solid foundational training in the fields of Arabic literature and language. This program qualifies students to understand and analyze literary texts, as well as their linguistic, rhetorical, and critical structures.

Over three years, the program focuses on empowering students with literary and linguistic knowledge through a progressive training path:

First Year (Core Curriculum): Provides the essential fundamentals.

Second and Third Years (Specialization): Starting from the second year, students specialize in the Literature track, diving deeper into the study of poetry, prose, criticism, Maghreb literature, and comparative literature.

The curriculum adopts an academic approach that combines theoretical lectures with tutorials and practical sessions. Student performance is assessed through examinations and term research papers. Furthermore, the program is dedicated to developing critical analysis, academic writing, and linguistic communication skills.
