General linguistics (Arabic)

The Bachelor’s program in general linguistics aims to enable students to understand language as a cognitive system and a social and cultural structure. The program combines rigorous theoretical and practical training, equipping students with the essential methodological tools to analyze linguistic phenomena scientifically.

The program is based on:

·       Acquiring solid fundamental knowledge in the basic branches of linguistics.

·        Developing analytical and critical skills.

·       Acquiring skills in scientific research and academic writing.

·        Openness to modern linguistic approaches and digital technologies.

• Master concepts in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Develop skills in linguistic corpus analysis.
• Prepare students for scientific research in accordance with international standards.
