Program Overview

In a world rapidly shifting toward web technologies, the central challenge of the web lies in providing platforms for communication, information exchange, and the personalized creation and composition of services accessible to businesses, public institutions, and individuals, from anywhere, with loose coupling.

The integration of two fields—web technologies and artificial intelligence—has recently emerged as a key area of research and development. This convergence aims to explore both the fundamental roles and practical impacts of:

  • Artificial Intelligence (e.g., knowledge representation and discovery, data mining, web services, intelligent agents, planning, and social networks)
  • Advanced Information Technologies (e.g., cloud computing, connected objects, semantic web)

on the next generation of web-based products, systems, services, and activities.

The primary objective of this master’s program is to develop expertise capable of initiating or contributing to research and engineering projects within sectors that leverage the powerful combination of web technologies and AI-driven solutions.

Graduates of the Master in Web and Artificial Intelligence will be qualified to lead, manage, or carry out any activity in the computing field. They will be able to:

  • Pursue doctoral studies leading to careers in academia or research
  • Secure managerial or technical positions in industrial R&D, business, or production
  • Take on roles as project or network managers
  • Join companies focused on Internet-based activities
