Public law is a branch of law that specialises in the legal rules governing relations between individuals and the state, or between public bodies themselves. It aims to organise the affairs of the state and society in general, and its fields include several important branches, including:

Public law is characterised by its focus on the interest of society and the state in general, and differs from private law, which is concerned with relations between individuals (e.g. civil law, labour law, and family law).

The holder of a bachelor's degree in this specialisation can continue his master's journey in other sub-specialisations that are more in-depth, such as administrative law, the state and public institutions, criminal law and other specialisations in this field.
