Program Overview

The specialization of the Qur'an and Sunnah is in the bachelor's degree of the Department of Qur'an and Sunnah at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, within the field of humanities and social sciences at Prince Abdul Qadir University of Islamic Sciences in Constantine, in which the student receives a set of knowledge starting from his first year of the base integrated knowledge of Islamic sciences, then the student moves to a deeper stage of the principles of religion and more accurately than the previous one with materials related to the revelations of the book, Sunnah, creed and monotheism with comparison with other religions as his knowledge of advocacy and media and their overall materials with Other subjects in jurisprudence, language and foreign languages, then he moves to the third year to choose the specialization of the Qur'an and Sunnah to delve into the knowledge closely related to the Qur'an and Sunnah with subjects related to the specialization such as inheritance, Arabic language, foreign language, computer science and others.

Target Qualifications and Competencies:

This training seeks to achieve the following qualifications and competencies:

1.                                   Training students specialized in interpretation, Quranic sciences, and hadith sciences, as students of the Department of Qur'an and Sunnah are concerned with the study of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet.

2.                                   Filling the shortage of this type of training in Algerian universities.

3.                                     Providing a strong training consistent with the requirements of the Algerian university and the scientific and cultural research environment of Algerian society.

4.                                     Meeting the need of Algerian society for this type of integrated training in sectors with a religious aspect.
