Program Overview

The English Department at the University of Jijel offers a comprehensive and rigorous academic program tailored for students interested in exploring the English language, its literature, and culture. The second-year Bachelor's program focuses on enhancing fluency and accuracy in language use, with the introduction of more advanced grammar and academic vocabulary. Admissions Information

Admission to the English Department at the University of Jijel is based on the following criteria:

For students from scientific streams:

  • A minimum overall Baccalaureate average of 13 out of 20
  • A minimum English language score of 12 out of 20

For students from foreign languages streams:

  • A minimum overall Baccalaureate average of 10 out of 20
  • A minimum English language score of 12 out of 20
