Program Overview

The Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Process Engineering aims to train specialists capable of designing, developing, and optimizing the industrial production of pharmaceuticals. It combines engineering sciences (fluid mechanics, transfers, unit operations) with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee the quality, safety, and scalability (from laboratory to factory) of pharmaceutical dosage forms.

The program places a strong emphasis on the study of different pharmaceutical dosage forms, knowledge of the main methods of drug analysis, mastery of pharmaceutical operations, the design of new bioactive molecules and simulation, and the acquisition of specific skills in pharmacology and processes, particularly useful for the pharmaceutical industry. Courses are taught by specialists in the field and supplemented by practical work, real-world case studies, and partnerships with industrial companies.

The curriculum provided allows, at the end of the 3rd year, not only to continue studies to prepare for masters, but also to enter the socio-economic sector with appreciable skills in pharmaceutical production and service companies.
