Program Overview

The Bachelor's degree in Hydrocarbon Economics is a multidisciplinary program designed to meet the specific needs of the energy sector, particularly hydrocarbons, a strategic pillar of the national and global economy. It is aimed at students who wish to understand the economic mechanisms associated with the exploitation, transformation, distribution, and marketing of oil and gas resources.

This program offers a dual orientation:

  • Economic, by providing solid training in general economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance, accounting and management, adapted to the energy context;
  • Industrial, integrating the technical and logistical bases of the oil sector (supply chain, project management, energy marketing, etc.).

The objective is to equip students with analytical and operational skills:

  • Understand the geopolitical, economic and environmental issues linked to hydrocarbons,
  • Assess the profitability and risks of investment projects in the sector,
  • Actively participate in the strategic management of energy resources,
  • Working as an interface between engineers, financiers and public decision-makers.

Upon completion of this training, graduates will be able to join companies in the oil and gas sector, specialist consulting firms, public institutions or continue their studies with a master's degree in fields related to energy economics, industrial management or public energy policies.
