Admission Requirements: To be admitted to the School Psychology major, students must have successfully completed the first year of a common core program in social sciences, then completed a course in general psychology in the second year, and then specialize in school psychology in the third year
Applicants must meet the pedagogical and administrative requirements for admission to this program. Training Objectives: The training in the Bachelor's Program in School Psychology aims to achieve the following objectives
1. In-depth scientific and theoretical training: Providing students with the theoretical and applied knowledge necessary to understand various aspects related to the specialty, such as cognitive disorders, behavioral and emotional disorders, school adjustment disorders, and learning difficulties
2. Training in diagnosis and intervention: Enabling students to acquire the skills necessary to diagnose and classify learning disorders and various school problems, and to propose appropriate intervention and treatment strategies. This includes training in the use of psychological examination and assessment tools (psychological tests, clinical interviews, case studies)
3. Development of research skills: Preparing students to conduct scientific research in the field of school psychology by providing them with the necessary methodological knowledge and training them in designing and implementing scientific studies
4. Development of professional competencies: Qualifying students to work effectively in educational institutions and specialized centers, and to collaborate with multidisciplinary work teams
Intended qualifications and capabilities: Upon completion of the program, graduates are expected to acquire the following qualifications and capabilities
