Program Overview

French language training, at its various levels (Bachelor's and Master's), focuses first on mastering the language in terms of usage and function. Then, it extends to knowledge in related fields such as sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, and literature. The programs are therefore organized to ensure the essentials are covered through core units that guarantee the acquisition of basic skills: speaking, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. Other teaching units complement the training, such as the interdisciplinary unit, which aims to develop parallel but useful skills like ethics, professional conduct, computer programming, and artificial intelligence. The introductory teaching unit, in the various programs, provides courses other than the specialized ones but which contribute to the same objectives, such as foreign languages and translation. Finally, methodology units are designed to instill the fundamentals of scientific and academic research.
