Program Overview

Field: Matter Sciences

Field: Chemistry

Specialization: Analytical Chemistry

The analytical chemistry taught at our university provides students with a grounding in the main qualitative, quantitative and structural analysis techniques used in chemistry, the environment and pharmacy.

The methods studied will be applied to organic and inorganic molecules.

Techniques studied include: UV, FTIR infrared, NMR, chromatography, mass spectrometry, thermal analysis methods, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, and electrochemical analysis methods.

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to separate, identify, and elucidate the molecular structure of a compound, as well as quantify it.
