University Of Ain Temouchent BELHADJ Bouchaib

Ain Temouchent University was established by Executive Decree No. 20-338, dated November 22, 2020, which repeals the decision to establish the Ain Temouchent University Center. Ain Temouchent University has distinguished itself through several qualifications and skills that have earned it a place among the institutions that the Ministry of Higher Education has decided to promote to university status.

13,000 students are enrolled at the university, divided among four faculties:

• Faculty of Science and Technology.
• Faculty of Arts, Languages, and Social Sciences.
• Faculty of Law.
• Faculty of Business Economics and Management Sciences.

Ain Temouchent University has nine (09) programs offering forty-four (44) bachelor's degree specialties and forty-seven (47) master's degree specialties, in addition to five (05) state engineering diploma specialties in road engineering, electrical engineering, agricultural engineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Key Requirements

✅ Admission requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or engineering degree in the required specialization, or equivalent, according to the specified admission criteria.

✅ Language of instruction: Arabic, French, or English.

- Provide proof of qualifications and diplomas that allow them, in accordance with national regulations, to continue their studies in Algeria;

- Comply with the university enrollment requirements applicable to Algerian candidates enrolled in the same program;

- Submit a mandatory medical examination upon arrival in Algeria, in addition to periodic health checks.

What does the application file contain?

- A copy or a duly certified translation of the diploma or certificate required for admission to the intended program and its equivalent, issued by the Minister of Higher Education;

- A copy of the academic record of candidates applying for postgraduate training;

- A copy of the candidate's birth certificate or any other alternative document;

- Citizenship certificate;

- A certified copy of the international student's original passport;

- Two academic recommendations from two professors in the same major for graduate students;

- A medical certificate proving that the applicant is free of infectious and/or contagious diseases and that the applicant is fit to continue their studies;

- Four recent photos.

International students who are not fluent in the language of instruction benefit from a year of intensive language training at language training institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
