THE ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY

The university center was created to meet the growing demand of the population on the one hand and the Algerian state's strategy to expand on the other.

Circle of Knowledge

The university was initially established as an annex, in accordance with the ministerial decision issued on 26 Jumada Al-Thani 1426, corresponding to 1 August 2005.

By creating a university annex in the city of Tissemsilt.

It was then joined to the rank of university centers by Executive Decree No. 08-203 dated 6 Rajab 1429 corresponding to 9 July 2008 establishing a university center in the state of Tissemsilt.

Then came the decision to upgrade the university center to the status of a university, which was the result of fulfilling the pedagogical conditions, especially in the field of

Qualifying the center's scientific and pedagogical bodies, as well as opening new specializations and launching doctoral projects, in addition to scientific research laboratories and training professors.

Conditions for University Registration

First: Registration for the Bachelor's Degree (Licence)

Registration for the bachelor's degree is done according to the following conditions:

• Possession of the Baccalaureate Certificate or an Equivalent Certificate: The candidate must have obtained a baccalaureate certificate or a foreign certificate recognized as equivalent by the relevant authorities.
• Availability of Educational Seats: Students are accepted based on the capacity of each university or higher education institution. If the number of candidates exceeds the available seats, candidates are ranked according to additional criteria, such as the general average of the baccalaureate.
• Registration Procedures: The registration process includes online registration through a digital platform.

Second: Registration for the Master's Degree

To apply for the master's program, the following conditions must be met:

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree (or an Equivalent Certificate): The candidate must have obtained a bachelor's degree in a major that matches or complements the desired master's specialization.
• Adherence to Admission Criteria: Criteria such as the overall average grade are considered.
• Availability of Educational Seats: The number of available seats for each specialization is determined based on the university's capabilities and educational resources.
• Adherence to the Ranking and Evaluation System: If the number of candidates exceeds the available seats, candidates are ranked according to academic criteria such as the cumulative average in the bachelor's degree.
• Registration Procedures: The process includes online registration through a dedicated digital platform, followed by awaiting the admission results. Afterward, final registration in the institution is completed.
