Program Overview

The PhD programs in Applied Linguistics as well as Language and Culture at the Department of English at Batna 2 University are designed to equip students with a deep understanding of language use, acquisition, pedagogy as well as cultural literacy, intercultural awareness and communication and their relationship with language acquisition and teaching. The program integrates linguistic theory, cultural analysis, and applied research methods to address challenges in multilingual education, intercultural communication, and language policy. All of these streams will provide students with a broad set of advanced research and communication skills, theoretical and critical expertise in their chosen field of study, and enhanced language proficiency.
