3/Specific Objectives of the Proposed Program 

1Deepening Theoretical and Applied Knowledge          

To equip students with advanced and comprehensive knowledge in various branches of Islamic economics, including Islamic economic theory, Islamic finance, Islamic banking, Takaful (Islamic insurance), Zakat, Waqf (Islamic endowment), and others.

To develop an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles and rules upon which Islamic economics is based and which are derived from Islamic Sharia law.

To provide the ability to critically analyze and evaluate contemporary economic theories and practices from an Islamic perspective.

To develop the capacity to apply Islamic economic concepts and tools in analyzing contemporary economic problems and proposing solutions to them.

2. Developing Scientific Research Skills:

To cultivate advanced scientific research skills in the field of Islamic economics, including identifying research problems, formulating hypotheses, and designing appropriate research methodologies.

To master the use of quantitative and qualitative research tools and techniques relevant to Islamic economics.

To enable the conduct of original and innovative scientific research that contributes to enriching knowledge in the field of Islamic economics.

To develop academic writing and oral presentation skills for research findings.

3. Contributing to the Development of Islamic Economics:

To prepare specialized and qualified researchers capable of effectively contributing to the development of Islamic economic thought and providing Sharia-compliant solutions to contemporary economic challenges.

To encourage the conduct of applied studies aimed at activating the principles of Islamic economics in the practical reality of financial and economic institutions.

To meet the needs of academic, financial, and economic institutions for specialized competencies in Islamic economics.

To contribute to raising awareness of the importance of Islamic economics and its role in achieving sustainable development and social justice.
