School of Higher Commercial Studies

Since its establishment in the 1970s, our institution (formerly INC Algiers) has continuously built and expanded partnerships in training, cooperation, and professional support with various public and private organizations and enterprises. As a result, our human capital has accumulated a wealth of intellectual expertise, which we proudly place at the service of today’s society.

Our teaching curriculum covers the vast field of business management, encompassing its many branches and various aspects of corporate operations. The different specializations—primarily commercial in nature—equip our students with multidisciplinary and cross-functional approaches, helping them explore research pathways or establish a solid career plan.

With over 50 years of existence, the school has undergone several restructurings, consistently providing high-impact training that has significantly contributed to the economy, business management, and even entrepreneurship.

Since 2011, the school has held the status of a non-university higher education institution and has been offering Master’s programs in Commercial Sciences and Management.

Key Requirements

PREPARATORY CYCLE:

Admission to the Preparatory Cycle is open to holders of the baccalaureate or an equivalent foreigner

diploma, based on the following criteria:

a. The preferences expressed by the candidate during the pre-registration process.

b. The candidate’s baccalaureate average score, in accordance with the criteria stated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

c. The school’s available admission capacity

MASTER’S CYCLE:

Admission to the second cycle at HEC is organized in two phases:

Phase 1: Admission Based on Academic Records (80% of available spots)

This phase is exclusively for students already enrolled in the preparatory cycle at HEC.Selection is based on a ranking system determined by the results obtained during the second preparatory year.

Phase 2: Admission Based on a Written Exam (20% of remaining available spots)

This phase is open to a wider group of candidates:

- HEC students who were not admitted during the first

phase (based on academic records).

- Students from other higher schools, universities, and

university centers, in the same field of study.
