Browse Programs Admission InformationThe training program for a Doctor of Medicine is structured over several years and includes theoretical courses, tutorials, and practical work. The courses cover fundamental disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and pathology, as well as clinical subjects like internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, and psychiatry. The tutorials allow for a deeper understanding of theoretical knowledge through the analysis of clinical cases, reading scientific articles, and differential diagnosis exercises. The practical work includes dissections in anatomy, laboratory manipulations in biology and biochemistry, as well as progressive hospital internships where students learn to examine patients, make diagnoses, and participate in patient care under the supervision of experienced doctors.

Advanced topics include precision medicine and applied genetics, which enable the customization of treatments based on patients' biological profiles. Artificial intelligence in medicine is another key area, with the integration of digital technologies to improve diagnosis and disease management. Robotic-assisted surgery, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering are also among the innovations studied. Additionally, the program delves into public health approaches, epidemiology, and health crisis management, which are essential for the prevention and management of pandemics and other global challenges.
