Training Objectives:
The docorat program in "Accounting and finance" is designed to enhance students' knowledge, skills, and professional competencies, aligned with the program's academic and practical content, The objectives of this program can be categorized into two main areas:
General Objectives:
This project aimed to establish a set of objectives that serve the university, the researcher (student), and the external environment. The most important of these objectives were: ü Contributing to enhancing the training of academics in accounting and finance and strengthening the skills and knowledge necessary to practice the profession of accounting and financial management, in addition to taxation and banking financial transactions, in a way that serves the labor market on the one hand and contributes to the development of knowledge and ethical behavior in the Algerian business environment;
Ø ü Emphasizing the role of the university and higher education programs in promoting the professional aspect of finance and accounting to meet the labor market's needs for highly qualified and specialized personnel;
Ø ü Contributing to enriching scientific knowledge in the field of accounting and finance by conducting original research and publishing the results in scientific journals;
Ø ü Opening the door to cooperation between the university and various institutions in accounting, financial management, and management oversight through research, development, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.;
Targeted Knowledge and Skills:
The student's training path culminates in a doctoral thesis, which addresses one of the topics covered in the training offer shown on the national platform.
This specialization aims to ensure training in a set of basic and necessary standards that allow graduates to practice the profession of teaching accounting and finance within various institutes, universities, and even educational institutions related to the specialization, and at a level that is compatible with the local and international requirements of the profession, as these standards are divided into two semesters (2)) as follows:
Activities: Semester 1 and Semester 2 Supporting courses in the specialty related to doctoral training: Advanced Corporate Accounting 2 hours per week. Business Evaluation 2 hours per week. Strategic Management Accounting 2 hours per week. Management Control 2 hours per week. Ethics in the Accounting and Auditing Profession 2 hours per week. Financial Markets and Institutions 2 hours per week. Methodology Courses: Scientific Research Methodology 1 hour per week. Scientific Research Methodology 1 hour per week. Introductory Courses in Education and Pedagogy: Pedagogical Psychology 1 hour per week. Ethics in Scientific Research 1 hour per week. Lessons in Information and Communication Technologies: Introduction to Information and Communication Technologies 1 hour per week. Use of Information and Communication Technologies in University Education 1 hour per week. Lessons in Foreign Language Skills 1 hour per week
