Doctoral students enrolled in the Qur’anic Exegesis and Qur’anic Sciences program receive a series of specialized training modules designed to reinforce and expand their academic knowledge and research competencies. The training is structured as follows:

III. Doctoral-Level Professional Training:

1. In-depth study of Maqasid Approach to Tafsir (al-Tafsir al-Maqasidi) in light of contemporary theories
2. Critical Analysis and Evaluation of Contemporary Tafsir Studies
3. Application of Thematic Tafsir (al-Tafsir al-Mawḍū‘ī) in light of Contemporary Issues
4. Evaluation of Comparative Tafsir across Different Islamic Schools of Thought
International students are eligible to apply for enrollment in the third-cycle (doctoral) program under the following conditions:
1. Possession of a Baccalaureate certificate (Secondary School Certificate) or its equivalent.
2. Possession of a Licence (Bachelor’s degree) or its equivalent.
3. Possession of a Master’s or Magister degree, or its equivalent.
4. If the applicant does not speak Arabic, he or she is required to complete a one-year Arabic language training program at the university’s Center for Intensive Language Instruction
