Program Overview

The doctoral program (third cycle) in Chemistry is designed within a framework of advanced specialization and high-level scientific research. It is built upon a solid foundation of in-depth knowledge in chemistry and branches into five complementary specialties: Inorganic Chemistry, focused on the synthesis and characterization of materials and metal complexes with catalytic, optical, or magnetic properties; Organic Chemistry, centered on synthesis methods, reactivity, and the design of new organic molecules; Pharmaceutical Chemistry, oriented toward the design, analysis, and optimization of therapeutically relevant compounds; Analytical Chemistry, which employs modern approaches for the identification and quantification of chemical species in complex matrices; and Environmental Chemistry, dedicated to studying the interactions between chemical substances and natural environments, as well as to the development of sustainable pollutant management strategies. This program aims to equip doctoral students with the scientific, technical, and methodological skills required for both fundamental and applied research, while fostering innovation, interdisciplinarity, and professional integration.
