Browse Programs Admission InformationCurrently, there is a consensus among specialists on the alarming rate of development of all pathologies in our country, which justifies the choice of this training course, through which we will contribute to resolving certain gray areas related to three pathologies: celiac disease, leukemia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which is a major public health problem. In this doctoral training, the emphasis is placed on structure-function relationships, regulatory mechanisms, signaling, metabolic biochemistry, major functions at the body level, their pathologies, and their disruptions.
The objective of this doctoral training is to identify the role of each factor as a determinant of predisposition to these pathologies and to analyze the consequences of these factors to assess the real effect of each through a multivariate analysis in order to identify those that could act as a brake on the development of these pathologies. The first theoretical year will allow us to develop essential cross-disciplinary training in the fields of biology, physiology, and pathophysiology, alongside high-level teaching in cellular and molecular biology and physiology. Bioinformatics, biostatistics, and English will also be included during this year. This program was chosen to promote experimental training through workshops and academic training through conferences. The goal of our doctoral training is to provide our doctoral students with the necessary knowledge to design and carry out a research project. It allows them to update the basic concepts of modern biology necessary for understanding cellular and molecular mechanisms. Cellular and molecular biology and physiology are essential disciplines for understanding any pathology. The genetic aspect of these pathologies is addressed in an attempt to assess the influence of genotype in the development of these diseases.
We aim to provide doctoral students with an integrated and dynamic vision of cellular functioning through the disciplines currently constituted by cell biology, physiology, and pathophysiology. At the end of this doctoral training, the doctoral student will have acquired technical know-how and an operational qualitative approach thanks to the significant practice of the IT tool during his training and training in oral communication thanks to the seminars offered, which will allow him an opening towards the professional world.
