PhD Biodiversity and Natural Resource Valorisation

The present offer of Doctoral Training «Biodiversity and Exploitation of Natural Resources» in Biological Sciences which follows that of Master and Bachelor aims to train high-level specialists, able to participate in conservation, the restoration and enhancement of the diversity of genetic material in order to introduce it into breeding and improvement programmes to obtain more productive varieties better adapted to the constraints of biotic and abiotic environments, water deficit, drought, salinity, temperatures and pathogens, it is therefore necessary to manage the best possible genetic potential available in this field, both traditional and related and spontaneous, in order to contribute to the agricultural needs and Algerian market, which brings us to the agri-food sector and consequently socio-economic area, within the framework of the food security policy.
