About Us

The Oran Graduate School of Economics is located in the USTO technopole in the town of Bir El Djir, a suburb of the city of Oran in Algeria. Initially established in 2010 as a preparatory school in economics, business and management sciences, it later became a graduate school of economics in 2017.

The Oran Graduate School of Economics has for main mission to provide higher education, scientific research and technological development in various specialties pertaining to the field of economics. Thus, through its infrastructure and the quality of the training provided, it aspires to meet the following objectives:

- To ensure the training of the students in preparatory cycle in order to enable them toaccess to the second cycle studies;

- To ensure a training in the Master’s cycle in adequacy with the evolutions of the labor market and providing the essential tools for a successful integration within this one;

- To initiate and encourage students to innovation and entrepreneurship;

- To contribute to the development of fundamental and applied research within companies;

- To participate with the international scientific community in the exchange of knowledge and its enrichment.

The admission to Oran Graduate School of Economics is done after obtaining the Baccalaureate diploma. The selection of the candidates is made on the basis of a ranking according to the score obtained, the number of available and previously fixed pedagogical places and the grade obtained in mathematics.

Student Life

Oran Graduate School of Economics currently has three scientific clubs that play an active role in creating a dynamic environment of exchange and learning within the establishment. These clubs are presented below:

- “OSE” club: The “OSE” club is the first club at the Oran graduate School of Economics created in 2016 by active and volunteer students. The club’s theme is around entrepreneurship. It has actually around thirty members and is mainly responsible for organizing scientific, cultural and sporting events.

- “ELITE” club: The ELITE club (Entrepreneurship Leadership Innovation Technology Enhance) was created at the school on 4 November 2021

This club, with actually fifty active members, is a scientific, cultural and sporting club that aims to bring its members closer to the socio-professional world in order to develop their hard and soft skills through the organization of regional and national events, training and participation in national competitions in entrepreneurship.

- “EID” club: Created on November 11, 2024, by a group of ambitious young students, EID is a non-profit scientific and economic club. Founded on the principles of innovation and creativity, EID is distinguished by its dynamic vision and its commitment to fostering the personal and professional development of students. Its main objectives are to: Promote initiatives for the student community by offering opportunities for engagement and learning; Prepare students for the professional world through relevant training, workshops, and events; Train active contributors and change leaders capable of making an impact in their environment; Encourage scientific research and innovation by stimulating intellectual curiosity and critical thinking; Create a dynamic environment by fostering student involvement and interaction in diverse and enriching activities.
