Browse Programs Admission InformationThe goal of this major is to train future professionals in print and online journalism, as well as university professors and researchers capable of managing editorial projects within their overall framework, while promoting access to the internet and developing digital technology. This is because jobs available in the field of journalism and media are subject to a logic of continuous evolution. Some jobs are being reshaped, others are being enriched, and new jobs are being created, all of which require strong, high-level competencies. First semester:

The training includes several workshops in the specialty, both in person and remotely:
- Workshop on Scientific Research Methodology
- Workshop on Alternative Media
- Workshop on Audiovisual Legislation and Ethics
- Workshop on Journalism and Electronic Publishing
In addition to several doctoral seminars:
- A seminar on preparing a scientific article
- A seminar on preparing a doctoral dissertation
- A seminar on artificial intelligence
- A seminar on the ethics of scientific research
In accordance with Decision No. 911 of August 11, 2022, which specifies the procedures for enrolling in third-cycle training, its organization, and the conditions for preparing and defending doctoral thesis, and which sets out the requirements for doctoral training, including the student's holding a Master's degree in the field of media and communication sciences, in addition to passing the examination.
