Program Overview

The Master’s program in Plant Protection aims to train specialized professionals capable of analyzing and managing phytosanitary issues affecting crops by integrating solid scientific, agronomic, and methodological knowledge.. This program offers subjects that help students to:

- Provide in-depth knowledge of the biology, systematics, and ecology of parasitic plants, as well as animal pests and fungal, bacterial, and viral diseases affecting crops.

- Train students to design and implement innovative, effective, and sustainable crop protection methods, including chemical, biological, integrated control, and adapted cultural practices.

- . Prepare students to engage in both fundamental and applied research, as well as in various professional sectors such as education, research, agricultural organizations, seed production and marketing, and ecosystem management.
