This master's program will allow students to understand the biodiversity of the living world and master the tools necessary for its management and sustainable conservation. Additionally, the program trains biologists with strong professional expertise in diverse fields such as bacteriology, virology, microbiology, biological engineering, and environmental microbiology.
The fundamental modules included in the curriculum are: Microbial Interactions, Fundamental Virology, Microbial Physiology, Microorganisms and Ecosystem Functioning and Infectious Microbiology and Health.
Specialized or in-depth modules include:
Industrial Microbiology and Molecular Biotechnology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection, Microbial Toxicity and Toxi-Infections, and Structure and Activity of Natural Substances
Supplementary Modules:
Biostatistics, Laboratory Hygiene and Safety, Biochemical Analysis Techniques, Parasitology and Mycology, Emerging Technologies (Programming, ICT, and AI). The program also aims to introduce students to entrepreneurship.
Details regarding admission requirements and procedures:
· Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.
· Have a strong foundation in core subjects of the specialty: Microbiology, Immunology, Microbial Biochemistry, Microbial Systematics, and Molecular Biology.
· Successfully completed relevant third-year (L3) coursework aligned with the program’s themes.
