Speciality description:

The Theoretical Physics Master's program at the Faculty of Physics of USTHB is an academic-oriented training. Due to its broad scope, it serves as a continuation of the Bachelor's degree in Fundamental Physics. Its aim is to introduce students to research in preparation for doctoral studies. In particular, it focuses on:

   • Deepening knowledge in quantum mechanics

   • An introduction to quantum information theory, quantum field theory, nuclear structure, condensed matter (solid-state physics), and plasma theory

   • Learning theoretical modeling methods and numerical computation.

Upon completion of this program, students will have a broad basis of knowledge to help guiding their future academic or professional careers.
