Master in Language Sciences

The Master's degree in English Language Sciences aims to train students in English linguistics capable of analyzing language structures and uses in both theoretical and applied dimensions. Graduates will master the theoretical foundations of linguistics (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics) and their applications in the specific context of English. They will develop advanced skills in corpus analysis, field linguistics, and research methodology, while acquiring in-depth knowledge of English varieties around the world.

The program also allows students to develop expertise in contrastive linguistics, language teaching, and the application of digital technologies to linguistic analysis. Students will acquire the ability to develop and conduct original research projects, process complex linguistic data, and draw conclusions relevant to various professional contexts. They will be trained in innovative teaching methods for transmitting linguistic knowledge, as well as sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic, and even neurolinguistic analysis.
