Program Overview

Financial management is viewed as one of the modern specialties in business organisations, due to the significance of the financial vocation in organisation and the increase of the role of institutions and financial markets in economic life in general, and in the trends of business organizations. Financial management major strongly emerged amongst the majors proposed by the faculties of Economics, Business Sciences and Management Sciences.

 The complexity of the relationship between organizations, banks, financial markets and insurance companies determines the specialization in finance to graduate specialists who are interested in this relationship and ensure that the organization's financial resources are invested in a direction that gives it a competitive advantage.

 The Bachelor of Financial Management program aims to prepare frameworks in the specialization of finance and develop their skills and abilities to keep pace with the needs of the labour market in public and private sector establishments. The main goals of the training are:

  •   Contributing to the development of the financial management profession.
  •  Meeting the needs of the labour market for qualified human resources from financial managers and experts.
  •   Strong involvement of expert practitioners from various business and non-business sectors in the educational process. 
  •   Ensuring the highest levels of compatibility between educational requirements and skills required by the labour market
  •  Promoting the sense of worker ethics and social responsibility in business organizations and government organizations.

Core Courses

The course in bachelor degree in the institute of economic and management sciences is according to the following model :

First year bachelor

  • The first semester: Empower the student with the essential and basic acquaintances and control the core economic concepts.
  • The second seimester: The student is working to consolidate economic concepts in the field of economics through important modules.

At the end of the first year, the students are requested to select one of the proposed specialties in the second year :

 - Economic sciences

 - Management sciences

 Second year bachelor

The second year proposes two study paths, the student ought to choose one :

- Economics Track: which ensures students gain a comprehensive understanding of economics fundamentals 

 - Management Sciences Track: that ensures students gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of management within economic institutions and administrations.
