Program Overview

The “Automotive Industry” specialization within the Department of Mechanical Engineering trains versatile State Engineers capable of designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and innovating in the automotive sector.

This integrated program combines theory and practice, with a strong foundation in engineering sciences, digital technologies (CAD/CAM, AI, CAE), and real industrial environments. From the first year, students are immersed in company internships, strengthening their employability and entrepreneurial mindset.

The curriculum covers all aspects of the vehicle, from dynamics and powertrains to embedded systems, as well as manufacturing, assembly, and production management.

The program adopts an integrative pedagogical approach, combining:

  • A solid scientific foundation in engineering sciences.
  • Specialized technological courses covering design, manufacturing, dynamics, powertrains, and embedded systems.
  • Early and meaningful professional immersion through mandatory internships.
  • The development of transversal skills (project management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and technical communication in both French and English).
