The doctoral program in Biotechnology offers two specializations: Biotechnology and Health, and Plant Biotechnology and Plant Improvement. This program aims to equip doctoral students with advanced scientific, technological, and conceptual knowledge and skills in biotechnology, enabling them to develop innovative national and international projects across diverse fields and industries that integrate biotechnological approaches.
The knowledge and skills acquired upon completing these two tracks will enable our graduates to:
- Master the biological fundamentals and cutting-edge technologies in Biotechnology and Health, as well as in Plant Biotechnology and Plant Improvement.
- Acquire the expertise needed to follow the biotechnology advances and their transfer to socio-economic sectors.
- Build scientific, technical skills, and high level of thinking to lead and contribute to multidisciplinary, innovative biotechnology projects.
- Create innovative companies within implementation of incubators (Economic enterprises, SMEs, SMIs, Start-ups, etc.) in the field of biotechnology and the production of biomolecules with health, environmental, and industrial applications.
- Join and contribute to research and development teams, progressing toward senior leadership positions in national and international companies across the health, pharmaceutical, environmental and industrial biotechnology sector.
