Program Overview

Mining Engineering is a branch of engineering that focuses on the exploration, extraction, and analysis of mineral resources from underground. This specialty covers all stages of the mining process, from geological exploration and mine design to mineral extraction and the safe, efficient management of natural resources. It also deals with the processing of extracted materials and managing the environmental impact associated with mining operations.

Students in this specialty will develop skills in managing mining operations, designing mining infrastructure, and applying advanced technologies in mineral extraction and other natural resources, while integrating ecological approaches for sustainable resource management.
