The Tlemcen Mansoura Department of University Works has (09) university residences, where students were divided between different residences.
As part of the new 2024/2025 university intake, 1,2803 accommodation applications (8,781 girls, 4,022 boys) have been registered on the Progres digital platform, where they have all been processed, and 1,245 applications (8,771 girls, 3,744 boys) have been accepted and directed to university halls of residence based on the accommodation capacity of each hall of residence and its proximity to the place of study.
Restaurant services
The restaurants in eight (08) residences, including the central restaurant, are operational to receive students in the best possible conditions.
Meals will be served as normal at the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, with full hot meals under the supervision of the university halls of residence food reception committees, chaired by the directors of the halls of residence.
Scientific, cultural and sporting activities
The Direction des œuvres Universitaires Tlemcen-Mansoura organises a range of cultural, scientific and sporting events, developing programmes in coordination with the students in its halls of residence.
In order to implement these programmes, all the residences provide the material and human resources to ensure the success of events such as sports tournaments, intellectual competitions, media programmes, seminars and the commemoration of historical, cultural and religious events in order to highlight and consolidate the cultural heritage of the students.
The university halls of residence offer free health cover to all resident students, as they all have preventive medicine units.
University grants are available to students subject to the conditions laid down in the relevant laws, which depend on their parents' income and whether or not they are affiliated to the CNAS and CASNOS social security funds.
Transport service
The total number of students benefiting from University Urban transport (external and internal) is approximately 17,000, including more than 12,500 residents benefiting from accommodation and catering, spread over 08 University Halls of Residence, including 05 girls and 03 boys.
And more than 5,000 external students enrolled at the University of Tlemcen (benefiting from a pedagogical seat) are allocated 44 buses spread over 19 lines in different directions between the faculties, the 02 Higher Schools and 02 Institutes, as well as the urban stations.
