Program Overview

The Higher School of Applied Sciences of Tlemcen offers many advantages:

A team of qualified professors in partnership with the Abu Bakr Belkaid University of Tlemcen.

One library containing approximately 9,000 books, with a large reading room with a capacity of 140 seats and two internet areas for students.

Three galleries with a capacity of 200 seats each.

One meeting room with a capacity of 160 seats.

Fourteen classrooms and teaching rooms with a capacity of 35 seats each.

Fifteen laboratories equipped with modern multidisciplinary equipment: physics, chemistry, computer science, drawing, and computer-aided design. A 30-seat videoconference room for distance learning.

Preparatory Classes and Engineering Schools

As a direct extension of secondary education, preparatory classes prepare students for the national entrance exam for national higher education institutions. The National Schools of Higher Education, also known as engineering schools, are among the best and most prestigious higher education institutions in Algeria. After their studies, graduates of the Grandes Ecoles will have attractive career prospects.

After completing this program, students who have not enrolled in a Grandes Ecole can continue their studies at university.

Admissions Information

Admission to the first year of ESSAT is conducted in accordance with the regulations established by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Welfare (MESRS).

In accordance with Circular No. 01 issued on 26 Sha'ban 1437 H, corresponding to June 2, 2016, regarding the pre-registration and orientation of high school graduates for the 2015-2016 academic year, recruitment will be national and placement will be based on the overall baccalaureate average. To be included in the ranking, the overall baccalaureate average must be:

Greater than or equal to 13/20 for the Priority Baccalaureate Series 01.

Greater than or equal to 14/20 for the Priority Baccalaureate Series 02.

Priorities 01: Mathematics and Mathematical Techniques.

Priorities 02: Experimental Sciences. Additional conditions:

To participate in the ranking, the average calculated between the math and physics scores must be (math + physics) / 2:

Priority 01 is greater than or equal to 13/20

Priority 02 is greater than or equal to 14/20
