Doctor of Pharmacy

Our 6-year curriculum follows the Algerian national standard and includes: Traditional Curriculum (5 years + 1 year of internship)

1. Theoretical and Practical Instruction (5 Years)

Years 1 & 2 (Common Core):

• Basic Sciences: Pharmaceutical Chemistry • Biochemistry • Physiology • Pharmacognosy • Botany
• Professional Introduction:Pharmaceutical Technology (galenic) • Medical Biology • Observation Internships (pharmacies)

Years 3 & 4 & 5 (Advanced):

Specialized Disciplines:

• Pharmacology
• Toxicology
• Microbiology
• Hospital Hygiene
• Pharmaceutical Legislation
• Quality Assurance

Practical Internships:

• Microbiology Laboratory, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry and toxicology
• hospital pharmacy.

2. Mandatory Internship Year (6th Year)

Work-Related Rotations:

• Hospital Internship
• Industrial Internship
• Laboratory Internship

Validation:

• Internship Report
• Final Dissertation and Oral Defense before a Jury
