Program Overview

- This master's program in applied geology provides students with the skills to conduct practical geological and thematic mapping, as well as analyze structures conducive to the formation of economically valuable mineral resources. It also equips students with proficiency in remote sensing tools for spatial analysis, enhancing fieldwork and enabling faster project completion, saving both time and effort.

The program includes fieldwork components focused on geological mapping, surveys, and measuring structural markers, with interpretation of data both in the field and through software tools for image processing. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge and gain valuable practical skills.

With both scientific and socio-economic importance, graduates can pursue careers in fundamental and applied mapping (at various scales), mineral and energy resource exploration, and natural hazard management (such as earthquakes, landslides, and other environmental disasters). Their expertise contributes significantly to national economic growth and sustainable development.
