Program Overview

The programs are organized across three levels during the undergraduate (Bachelor's) period:

  • First Year of Study: Comprises two semesters focused on adapting to university life, discovering the university environment, and introducing the foundational principles of the specialization.
  • Second Year of Study: Consists of two semesters dedicated to deepening knowledge and gradual orientation.
  • Third Year of Study: A specialization phase to acquire knowledge and skills in the chosen field. It also includes two semesters.

Core Courses

Main Academic Cycles

At each level, training fields are organized into modular semesters, allowing for academic mobility.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Academic): Designed for high school graduates, providing direct access to longer and specialized university studies. Duration: 3 years.
  • Master’s Degree (Academic): Focuses on preparing students for scientific research and research activities in universities or economic sectors related to the specialization.
  • Doctorate (PhD): Minimum duration of 3 years, aimed at deepening expertise in the specialization and training through and for research (developing research skills, teamwork, etc.).

Advanced Training Themes

  • Mastery and acquisition of fundamental theoretical knowledge through progressive modules (lectures and tutorials).
  • Mastery and acquisition of applied knowledge through practical modules (laboratory work, hands-on training).
  • Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge gained during the Bachelor’s program in professional life or the job market.
  • Qualification to work as a Physical and Sports Education teacher in educational institutions at all levels.


Admissions Information

Each teaching unit carries a set of credits, with 30 credits per semester—totaling 120 credits for a Master's degree and 180 credits for a Bachelor's degree

Admission to certain specializations is subject to available spots and the capacity of the Institute of Physical and Sports Education.

Bachelor’s Admission Requirements:

  • Original high school diploma (or foreign equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research).
  • Ministerial authorization for international students.
  • Physical and medical fitness appropriate to the specialization.

Master’s Admission Requirements:

  • Original high school diploma (or recognized foreign equivalent).
  • Ministerial authorization for international students.
  • Physical and medical fitness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization (or recognized equivalent).

Note: Holders of multiple high school diplomas are only eligible for one enrollment during their academic journey.
