The core courses cover the study of linguistic structures, reading techniques, and text analysis, as well as academic writing fundamentals. Students also acquire research methodology skills and learn to use digital tools applied to language studies.
The Bachelor's Degree Program in French covers a range of advanced topics aimed at developing students’ linguistic, literary, and cultural knowledge. These topics include applied linguistics, where students study syntactic and semantic relationships in language, as well as advanced phonetics, which covers rhythm, intonation, and differences between various French dialects. The program also explores world literature and literary theories, with a focus on analyzing modern texts such as modernism and contemporary narratives. Other topics include teaching methodologies and approaches to teaching French as a foreign language, equipping students with advanced pedagogical skills. Lastly, the program includes French for Specific Purposes (FOS), focusing on the application of French in professional fields such as business and technology.
To enroll in the Bachelor's Degree Program in French, students must meet the following requirements:
• Hold a Baccalaureate diploma in one of the eligible fields, such as Literature and Foreign Languages or Social Sciences.
• Have an acceptable level of proficiency in French, with consideration given to their French language scores in the Baccalaureate exam
