Our 7-year program follows the Algerian national standard and includes: Doctoral Cycle (7 years)
Preclinical Cycle (1st to 3rd years):
- Fundamental courses: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Histology.
- Introduction to semiology and clinical examination techniques.
- Introductory internships in a hospital setting.
Clinical Cycle (4th to 6th years):
- Specialized courses: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology-Obstetrics, etc.
- Mandatory hospital internships in accredited departments (Batna University Hospital, Batna CLCC, Mother and Child EHS, etc.).
- Internship at the faculty's simulation center
- Training in medical research (final dissertation).
Internship (one year):
- The internship is the mandatory year of practical training after the six years of medical training.
- Residents complete three-month rotations in clinical departments.
- Pediatric and gynecology rotations are mandatory, with an internship in a medical department and another rotation in surgical departments.
