Browse Programs Admission InformationThe program spans seven years, consisting of three years of preclinical studies, three years of clinical studies, and one year of internship.
The program includes both theoretical and practical instruction. It consists of:
- Lectures,
- Tutorials,
- Labs,
- Simulation-based instruction,
- Clinical internship instruction (hospital).
During the first two years, instruction takes place at the Faculty of Medicine. Beginning in the third year, instruction is supplemented by a clinical internship in three healthcare facilities (University Hospital, Maternity Hospital, and Cancer Center).
The seventh year consists exclusively of four clinical internships, each lasting three months: Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, a medical specialty, and a surgical specialty.
Teaching basic sciences during the first 3 years
During the final year, the student can choose a classic theme for his dissertation or an innovative or start-up theme with the possibility of acquiring a patent.
An average of more than 16/20 in the baccalaureate is required to access medical studies. This varies from year to year. Medical studies are reserved exclusively for holders of the baccalaureate in "Experimental Sciences", "Mathematics" and "Mathematical Techniques" series.
